Best Birthday Ever!!!

I finally got my granddaughter out of fostercare and back into my home. While she is still a ward of the state. She is in my home and I have am the new caretaker via the Kinship program. I am really looking forward to spending time with her. I will post pics soon.

School Days

Well school starts today so my knitting and crocheting will slow down. I am taking Macroeconomics, Sociology and Math 60 this semester all online.

I hope I can do the online thing and keep up. This will be a first for me. This will be a first for me.

I already checked into my Sociology class and read the first 19 pages of Chapter one.

I've already read the first chapter in my Macro book so hopefully I'll do ok.

Well off to work. No rest for the wicked!!!!

My Granddaughter

As some of you know I've been trying to get my granddaughter back after her being put into fostercare. I am going through the Kinship program and had my final inspection of the house and it's been approved.

Now we are waiting for the main social worker to do her job, so I can go get her.

We ripped out the spare bedroom that was an office complete with built in counters and I bought her this precious bedroom set.

Above is the bed and above that is the matching desk and dresser that goes with her bed. I fell in love with this set. I am so hoping she loves this.

I cannot wait to see her face when she sees this.

In Loving Memory

I inherted this beautiful cat 8 years ago from my mother when she passed away. I am sorry to say that Sweet Pea is now back with mom.


Mom take care of her. I love you both!!!!

Knit in Public Day

KnottyKnitters did Knit in Public Day starting at Carl's Jr. and ending at McDonalds. I learned a great lesson yesterday. Don't ever say "Bite me" to Ladybuglola. She will!!!!!!! It's a good thing I Love her anyways. LOL

Last week of school

Well I am behind on pictures and my blog. The only excuse I have is Finals.............. Trying hard not to procrastinate, but it's not working too well. Here I am posting on my blog when I should be writing a final essay and would rather be knitting.

I was on a roll and got interrupted and so I am now trying to figure out how to get back on track.

Oh well maybe in a few minutes. hehe
